‘Coinmarketcap’ is a cryptocurrency website as well as a mobile app. It has a whole host of features, you can track your entire cryptocurrency portfolio, and get all the information you need about the various coins. CoinMarketCap has got everything you would want to know about cryptocurrency in one place. It will tell you everything you would want to know about the different coins and tokens. Their history and origins links to the coins ‘white paper’. Information about the wallets that can be used alongside them, where and how to buy, the coins ‘market cap’ and all of the trading graphs and conversion calculators you would need.
The site also has a wealth of news reports all related to crypto currency so you can see what is in the news right now about crypto currency. It is the ultimate site to stay as informed as possible.
You can also read up on the different exchanges and which ones are recommended and offer what you might be looking for. Binance now owns CoinMarketCap, so do not be surprised that, binance is the most trusted exchange on their site.Criticism
There is some criticism out there for Coinmarketcap as well, often saying that the information isn’t completely and wholly accurate. I shall be honest I am not 100% sure if this is true or not. From what I see most of it is accurate, but there is certainly some bias in some aspects of it as well.
The fact that binance (acquired in 2020) owns this site there will always be some bias I feel, so take it with a pinch of salt. ‘Coin Gecko’ would always be a good comparison with this site, to see the legitimacy. But ultimately I am still a fan of CMC, good earning opportunities but I always consider the information with a slight bit of reservation.
Track your portfolio
If you are into crypto you will probably have lots of different wallets or crypto all over the place. It can be hard to keep track of what your total assets are.
CoinMarketCap can make this easier, by adding your different coins into your own personal portfolio tracker. You can add coins to CoinMarketCap when you trade them on other platforms and CoinMarketCap will track the prices for you and all your total holdings. It doesn’t link to any accounts, so you do have to do this manually but it is by far the easiest way to keep track of your portfolio. You just need to keep on top of it
Learn and earn crypto with Coinmarketcap
The best thing about Coinmarketcap is their learn and earn opportunities, this is essentially where you can earn some free crypto from answering some questions. They are always interesting anyway. You can learn about new coins or tokens by watching some really easy short videos, then answering some questions, and you will either get guaranteed coins or a chance of getting some.
It seems more often lately that it is not guaranteed anymore and you will only get an opportunity to get some, but I have got some good free coins from these opportunities, Graph token and Ionex.
They are certainly worth a look.
Earn daily diamonds
Another cool feature with ‘Coinmarketcap’ is the diamonds, you can claim these diamonds, by logging in each day, getting more if you go on a 7 day streak.
What do you get with these diamonds?
At the moment not a huge amount mostly NFT’s and they are not for me really, but new rewards are promised in the near future so until then I shall keep piling on the diamonds.
Airdrops
They also have a handy wealth of airdrops available, what is an airdrop?, it is where basically normally a new coin or token, will give out their tokens or coins for free, either to loyal customers, or people who have other coins.
Honestly this is the rarity, it is unlikely that you will get this lucky, but it is a good way to get your hands on some new coins.
This is however the time to be wary, sometimes you can get them for absolutely free, other times you will find yourself retweeting, posting about and all sorts, and unless it is something I really believe in. I don’t tend to get involved in that nonsense.
But they are worth a look, do your own research with these airdrops though is it worth it.
For me these airdrops are not really the best, it is only a chance of winning and the vast majority require your to retweet and tag others, if there is a project I believe in then I may give it a look otherwise these are not for me I am afraid.
The good and the great airdrops are rare.
They seem to just be pumping any old airdrop on there really so not for me.

Coinmarketcap is one of the sites I am always on looking into crypto, so many good features and lately more and more so many ways to earn on there as well.
Approach with caution this company under the umbrella from Binance may not always be completely impartial. But if interested in crypto then you need to be checking out this site. Remember to log in daily to ramp up those diamonds who knows what they will be worth in the future.
There are a tonne more ways to earn more on crypto the opportunities out there are really good at the moment, as always approach with caution and don’t dive in too wholeheartedly.
But there is some great sign up offers for crypto, as well as earning from social sites online that are really good opportunities as well.
